5–15 Hours per Week — Cash Compensation

Ongoing, focused consulting engagement structured around your highest-priority challenges. We identify the right processes and tools to drive competitive advantage, then help implement them — not just advise on them.

  • Weekly working sessions with defined deliverables
  • Active involvement in strategy and execution, not just recommendations
  • Sales process, operations, fundraising, or team building focus

Best for: companies with a specific functional challenge that needs a senior resource but not a full-time executive.

Defined Project Scope

Fixed Scope & Deliverable — Cash Compensation

For companies that have a specific, bounded problem to solve. We agree on the objective, timeline, and deliverable upfront — then we go execute it. No ambiguity, no scope creep.

  • Fundraising preparation and investor narrative
  • Sales process design and pipeline infrastructure
  • Operations audit and restructuring plan

  • Go-to-market strategy and launch planning

Best for: companies with a clear, time-bound problem that needs an experienced outside leader to own and deliver the solution.

Equity Compensation

Strategic Advisor & Investor

Equity-Based — Mission-Oriented Companies

We reserve a small number of advisory seats each year for companies with a mission worth backing. Compensation is equity, not cash. In return, you get Jon's strategic perspective, network, and optionally, capital.

  • Typically 1–2 hours per month, structured calls and async support
  • More involved options available for high-priority needs
  • Introductions to investors, customers, and key hires
  • Honest, candid perspective — not cheerleading
  • Optional: angel investment alongside advisory role

Best for: mission-oriented startups with a compelling vision who will no longer tolerate the status quo in their field.
